Secureline VPN from avast is an ultra-fast VPN that comes with some truly clever features. It has a broad range of supported devices and a fantastic app for all major platforms, and decent customer service. However, it does not offer a free plan and the premium plans are pricey.
The service uses military-grade AES 256 encryption to protect your data. It also has a kill switch that shuts off the internet if the connection to the VPN ceases to work. You can also pair devices to connect a new device without entering your username or password. Avast SecureLine also includes DNS leak protection and a Smart VPN mode that automatically connects to the best server for your location.
Avast offers a variety of pricing plans with discounts on longer-term subscriptions. The service also provides a free trial to PC users, whereas mobile and Mac applications come with a seven-day trial period. If you don’t love the service, you can end your subscription using the Avast Customer Portal. Log in with your Avast username and password. Then, select “Manage Subscriptions” next to SecureLine.
Avast offers a variety of payment options, including credit card, PayPal, wire transfer and PaySafeCard. It does not accept cryptocurrency. According to the privacy policies of the company it is possible to keep your billing information however, not your communications or online activities.
